Couldn't Resist: A Poster for the US Women's Team

Congratulations, ladies, on a valiant effort and a great result.

A Little Design Joke

Filed under design and soccer, this one is a poster in the style of Shepard Fairey's famous Obama poster, recut with Hope Solo in place of the candidate. It went up after the US Women's National Team's World Cup run.

Credit Where It Is Due

I do not know who the photographer of the original image is. All credit to him or her, a.k.a. do not sue me.

How It Got Here

The title of the post says it all. Couldn't resist.

Read it for the hockey. This journal explains how the sport works; it does not predict results and does not sell anything. Where a number is not publicly checkable we say so instead of inventing one.
